WEATHER AUTHORITY FORECAST - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 24TH - 11 PM UPDATE
Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies. An isolated shower south. Low 59.
Monday: Lots of clouds in the morning, then partial clearing in the afternoon High 78.
Tuesday: Partly sunny. Shower and storm chances late. High 80.
It was another great day across the Tri-state with mainly sunny skies to start and comfortable temperatures in the upper 70s to around 80. Cooler temps were found across our eastern counties thanks to more clouds from Ophelia's remnants. But now we're seeing clouds increase from the west. Our humidity is much higher today, compared to Saturday. We'll keep the clouds in place overnight into Monday morning. Areas south of the river could squeeze out a stray shower after midnight. Come Monday, we'll slowly see skies clear from west to east later in the afternoon. The Bengals game will be perfect with temps in the upper 70s for the tailgaters. Our game time temp will be quite pleasant--- in the lower 70s.
But we're finally tracking some RAIN!! An upper level low will rotate through the Great Lakes States Tuesday night through Thursday, bringing rain and storm chances. Nothing severe is expected, but rain amounts could reach one inch. An inch is desperately needed, as our very dry September continues.
