Hailey Baldwin has shot down reports she and Justin Bieber are already married.
The stars sparked rumors suggesting they were husband and wife after they were spotted visiting the marriage license courthouse in New York City on Thursday and were overheard talking about a top secret wedding.
Eyewitnesses at the Marriage Bureau at the City Clerk's Office in the Big Apple told TMZ Bieber and his bride-to-be dropped several hints they were already married during their visit, and at one point an emotional Justin broke down in tears.
He was also overheard thanking a court official for keeping his visit low-key, and another eyewitness told the news outlet the couple was making plans to jet out of the country, pointing to a possible last-minute honeymoon.
But now Hailey insists the fuss was all about nothing, taking to Twitter on Friday to address the rumors about her under the radar wedding day.
"I understand where the speculation is coming from, but I’m not married yet," the model wrote to her fans.
In a recent interview with Australia’s Stellar magazine, Hailey admitted she was "beyond excited" about her wedding, but didn't share any details, and now insiders claim she could be Mrs. Bieber within a week.
The 21-year-old model and Bieber became engaged during a romantic vacation to the Bahamas this summer and confirmed the exciting news on Instagram two days later. The "What Do You Mean?" singer proposed just two months after they rekindled their 2015 romance.
